Sports are the front door
C+A helps churches, organizations, and missionaries point people to Jesus through community and sports.
Community + Athletics (pronounced Community plus Athletics, or C plus A) began as a sports outreach to families in Kissimmee, Florida. Season by season, those relationships grew into a community that plays in leagues, goes to camp, and shows up for family events together.
Today C+A runs Celebration Community Athletics, with leagues, club teams, and camps for families across Celebration and greater Orlando.
Even the name has the cross at the center. It's not just about athletics. It's about building community too.
If you can find and grow great people, they will run great programs, which then gives you permission to share Jesus in your community.
Leadership
Pastor Paul Podraza leads C+A. He never saw himself leading a nonprofit like this, but God had him on a journey through sports, ministry, and education that brought it into existence.
Paul has a Master of Divinity from Samford University and a bachelor's degree in video production from Ohio University. He lives in Celebration, FL with his wife Tracy, while their son attends college in South Florida.
In addition to leading C+A, Paul is an elder at Celebration Community Church.
